For professionals & supporters
Stand Your Ground is free, no-login, and ad-free for survivors — and will stay that way. This page is for the people and organisations who work alongside them.
Free forever for survivors
Every survivor-facing feature — legislation library, protective orders guide, evidence checklists, Victims' Code, templates, AI research assistant, private journal and evidence vault, quick exit — is and will remain free, with no sign-up required for public guidance. Paywalls put people who are financially controlled at risk.
Use it in your practice
- Solicitors & McKenzie Friends: link clients to specific orders, family evidence checklists, and template documents rather than re-explaining basics by email.
- Police & IDVAs: the Victims' Code, police rights and Clare's & Sarah's Law pages are written in plain English and safe to hand out.
- Refuges & advocates: the which-order checklist helps survivors arrive at first appointments already knowing what to ask for.
- Social workers & schools: share the child protection and family-court thresholds pages with families navigating proceedings.
Support the project
Running costs (hosting, AI usage, content review) are covered by donations and grants. There is no advertising and no data is sold. Ways to help:
- Donate — one-off or monthly contributions keep the platform free.
- Grant funders (Ministry of Justice, Tampon Tax Fund, Comic Relief, Lloyds Bank Foundation, local PCCs) — get in touch about funded expansion.
- Law firm CSR / pro bono — sponsor content review by a qualified solicitor in your practice area.
- Partner organisations — refuges, IDVA services and local authorities can co-brand printable handouts for clients.
Future professional tier (planned)
A paid tier may be offered to professionals only — for example bulk court-bundle exports, branded PDFs for refuges, or case-management features for advocacy services. Survivor-facing tools will never be moved behind a paywall.
