Grounds

To protect from being forced into marriage, or to protect someone already forced into marriage. Can include passport surrender and prohibitions on contacting / removing.

Evidence required

Statements, evidence of travel plans, communications, evidence from school, Forced Marriage Unit reports.

Duration

As court directs.

Breach consequences

Criminal offence — up to 5 years' imprisonment.
